摘要
We present a series of six patients treated over a period of two years using the lateral sural fasciocutaneous island flap for a moderate soft tissue defect around the knee joint. All the flaps survived with early return of full knee joint function. The flap is extremely useful for such defects due to its close proximity to the area of the defect. It is a thin and reliable flap which can be raised easily.
