摘要
This work is focused on research of mechanical propeties of metastable nanostructured alloys processed by severe plastic deformation (SPD). The emphasis has been on the study of structure and deformation behaviour at elevated temperatures in intermetallic Ni(3)Al and Al 1420 alloy. The processed nanostructured alloys exhibit enhanced superelasticity at high strain rate or low temperature as compared to microcrystalline alloy. Specific features of superplastic behaviour in nanostructured alloys and the requirements to achieve enhanced superplasticity are discussed. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
