摘要：
This review presents the current status of our understanding of the phase diagram of the charge stabilised polystyrene colloidal suspensions exhibiting fluid, body centered cubic and face centered cubic phases, Also discussed are the results of the present authors on density functional theory and Monte-Carlo simulations of laser induced freezing, showing modulated liquid and modulated crystalline phases.
