摘要
Power load variations due to more variable renewable energy and electrification can be partly dealt with by controlling flexible loads in buildings (i.e. demand-side management (DSM)). This paper evaluates four different grid tariff schemes, and how they affect the value of DSM in buildings where heating and appliances are all powered by electricity. Incentives for DSM through increased energy efficiency and load shifting provided by the tariff schemes are investigated. Our analysis is based on simulation for a single family house in Norway in 96 cases. Results show that load shifting enable lower bills for consumers increasing energy efficiency.
