摘要：

Wood containing recovered paper as raw material for deinked pulp is predominantly pulped under alkaline conditions. Neutral deinking offers, however, several advantages for the industry but is generally associated with inferior optical properties of the DIP produced. This paper deals with possibilities to improve flotation deinking results by neutral, alkali reduced and alkaline pulping. The findings make evident that under optimized pulping conditions the neutral deinking process has a potential for commercial application.
