摘要
With the increased use of flow cytometry in clinical assays, there is growing concern regarding the ability to obtain comparable results across laboratories and over time. This article describes the results from numerous interlaboratory quantitative flow cytometry surveys performed over the past 10 years. A summary of lessons learned from these surveys and the activities that are being pursued by the scientific community to improve quantitative measurements of fluorescence intensity are presented. These efforts acquire special relevance with the development of new clinical applications.
