摘要
The following paper addresses the application of methods for the formation of two dimensional radar imagery of rotating objects. Specifically we discuss methods for the formation of stacked range time intensity (RTI) imagery, stacked doppler time intensity (DTI) imagery, and limited angle of access wideband and narrowband linearly focused range doppler imagery. All image formation methods were applied to simulated object range response data generated by the Lincoln Laboratories RCSToolBox. Objects modeled include simple three dimensional collections of spherical scattering elements as well as several weather satellites modeled as collections of cones, cylinders, flat plates, and spheres. User controllable variables associated with the current point and click graphic interface include initial and final ranges, range resolution, initial and final antenna locations (along circular arcs), angular increment between measurement positions, and angle between individual images.
