摘要
The purpose of this research is to explore the motivation attributes of Computer-mediated communication (CMC) technology use in general. By applying the uses and gratification theory, this study attempts to figure out the specific gratifications sought in the use of various CMC technologies. An empirical survey will be conducted, and factor analysis will be undertaken to extract the specific motivations to use each CMC technology. The results of this study may be applied to CMC technology design.
