Pyridine-Modified Acridine-Based Bipolar Host Material for Green Phosphorescent Organic Light-Emitting Diodes

摘要
A bipolar host material with a phenyl-modified acridine core and a pyridine unit in the molecular structure was synthesized as the host material for green phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (PHOLEDs). A high triplet energy of 2.76 eV was obtained from the host and a high quantum efficiency of 13.5 % was achieved in green PHOLEDs using the acridine-based host material. © 2012 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
