摘要
Objective. - Is to reflect on the impact of fake news on women's sexual health and on their free choice to understand the interest and issues of contraception. It is also to warn about the disastrous consequences that can result from these media attacks on contraception, on the freedom of a woman to dispose of her body, on her choice of non-pregnancy. Means. - We will analyse the impact of fake news on our psychological functioning and behaviours. We will evaluate the societal dimension of the upheaval of consensual values with a loss of adherence to traditional information networks (doctor, parents, entourages) in favour of electronic information, true or false unfiltered, but free speech. Through literature, we will try to understand what French women think about contraception, what their fears and demands are. Results. - The dislove of the pill is confirmed: 45% of users in 2010, 36.2% in 2016. On the other hand, the number of women without contraception decreased by 8% in 2006 compared to 13% in 2010. Twenty percent choose a non-medicalised method related to the sexual act. Ninety four percent think that contraception allows to dispose of one's body, 39% express their fears while all studies report a benefit-risk of the positive pill. In the field of contraception, there are political and societal debates (for cultural, religious or opportunistic reasons) to regulate the population that exceeds and restricts personal choice. Conclusions. - Contraception allows the woman to appropriate one choice of non-pregnancy. This hard-won freedom is shredding. It is up to us health professional to take up the torch, explain, reassure, hear and convince our patients. (C) 2021 Published by Elsevier Masson SAS on behalf of Sexologies.
