摘要
Upset forging test at elevated temperature of aluminium alloy were experimentally carried out at specified aspect radios ranging from 0.8 to 1.2 and at different true strain levels under a constant strain rate of 1 x 10(-3)/. The radius of curvature of the barrelled aluminium cylinders measured by physically found to closely the values calculated using data at higher aspect ratio. In this paper we found, different stresses hydrostatic stress, effective stress found out for different aspect ratio. Investigation is aimed at establishing aluminum between the measured radius of curvature of the billet and new shapes dimensions of the deformed specimens. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
