摘要：

Based on the Unseen Internet that connects "things" by equipping them with information processing and communication capabilities, Smart Industries bring promise of sustainable economic growth and improvements in the quality of life. However, in order to deliver on these promises, Smart Industries must meet the challenges of privacy protection and an efficient pay-per-use payment model. In this paper, we describe the nature of those challenges for the Unseen Internet versus the Visible Internet, explain why the payment and privacy protection methods adopted for the latter are insufficient for the former, outline research directions to study and eventually address this gap, and show directions of possible solutions.
