Psychopathy, aggression, and violence: An interrelationship analysis in a criminal sample

摘要：
This study explains the relationship between psychopathy and recidivism, just as the type of (instrumental and/or expressive) agression more characteristic of psychopathy. The results obtained from a sample of 285 prisoners showed the existence of a relationship between psychopathy and risk of recidivism. This risk was higher in groups with moderate and high scores in psychopathy. In addition, our results show the association between psychopathy and both types of aggression, instrumental and expressive, and the stronger connection with moderate and high score groups in psychopathy.
