摘要
The driven force of Corporate Social Responsibility in China textile and apparel industry was analyzed and discussed from global apparel value chain in the paper. It was hard for China textile and apparel enterprises to execute social responsibility; the claim for the multinational brand vendors or retailers which took a top-end in global value chain as well as substantive profit was put forward. Chinese textile and apparel value chain is a typical buyer-driven example. Most of China textile and apparel enterprises are in quasi-hierarchical chains. It was necessary to appeal to them for changing their buying mode and undertaking more social accountability. Meanwhile it was urgent to improve the consciousness of social accountability in China textile and apparel enterprises and the maintenance of labor's legal rights.
