摘要
It has been proven that reasonably accurate monitoring current conditions of equipment are required for switching from a common scheduled maintenance to the condition-based maintenance. The known instrument of solving this task is a vibration diagnostics. The paper provides typical examples of failure diagnostics of the rotating electric equipment installed at existing process facilities. It considers diagnostics of failure caused by mechanical defects of the pump. Analysis of direct vibration spectrum of the bearing assemblies of the electric motor enabled revealing progressing defects of coupling flanges. The second type of malfunctions of rotor equipment is connected with ball and journal bearing defects. This defect was detected with spectral vibration analysis. The paper also describes an example of diagnostics of the asynchronous motor rotor. Timely detection of defects of squirrel cage rods prevented the emergency. Results of vibration diagnostics of condition of oil pumps of the transformer cooling system are provided. Methods of spectral diagnostics formed a basis for condition detection. The paper substantiates the vibration characteristic levels determining the degree of force impacts on the transformer tank surface. It considers the measuring procedure with the portable vibration analyzer and the reporting form.
