摘要
Lead-free K0.33Na0.67(NbO3), a morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) composition of Potasium Sodium Niobate (KNN) system has been synthesized in single perovskite phase by partial co-precipitation method. X-ray studies revealed monoclinic structure at room temperature. SEM characterization of the sintered ceramics revealed dense and homogeneous packing of grains. Room temperature (RI) dielectric constant (epsilon(r)) and dielectric loss (tan delta) at 1 KHz were found to be similar to 388 and 0.03 respectively, whereas a relatively high density rho similar to 4.45g/cm(3), remnant polarization (P-r) similar to 4.95 mu c/cm(2), coercive field (E-c) similar to 5.60kV/cm, Curie temperature (T-c) similar to 370 degrees C have been observed.
