摘要
This work aims to investigate and discuss the limits and possibilities of the implementation of the programming language in education through Scratch. From a methodological perspective, it operates from the perspective of the field study, whose data were obtained through a Scratch workshop addressed to students of the 5th grade of elementary school in a public school in the city of Santarem, Para. It also sought additional information through the application of questionnaires and interviews with participating students and the teacher responsible for the institution's computer lab. As a result, he emphasizes that Scratch is a fruitful way of introducing the programming language in school education, as well as providing students with experiences of active construction of knowledge encompassing both computing as well curricular contents.
