摘要：
The application of hard X-ray synchrotron radiation to materials has made it possible to obtain information hitherto impossible or impractical to obtain. Because the applications of synchrotron radiation are vast, this review concentrates on hard X-ray sources and experiments. The focus is on techniques giving structural information about materials.
