摘要
An ultrawideband (UWB) bandpass filter with steeply sloped rejection is proposed in this article. The proposed filter has five transmission poles inside the passband and four transmission zeros on both side of passband. Using the even- and odd-mode analysis method, closed-form formulas for the position of poles and zeros are given. Finally, a UWB bandpass filter is fabricated and measured. The simulation and measurement agree well with each other. Furthermore, due to the two tunable transmission zeros very close to the filter passband, the fabricated filter has 136- and 72-dB/GHz slopes in the lower and upper transition band.
