Experience of the Czech Republic population with sexually aggressive behaviour

Within the framework of a broader research into the sexual behaviour of the Czech population it was found in a representative sample of 862 men and 825 women older than 15 years that 11.6 per cent of women-respondents had experience with forced sexual intercourse (3.4 per cent repeatedly), most often in the age of 16 to 25 years. In more than half of the cases, the offender was either the own husband or partner of the subject; strange men were offenders in one of ten cases. Only 3.4 per cent of victims have announced this tort to the police. 4.8 per cent of men-respondents states that sometimes in their life they have forced woman to sexual intercourse, most often to vaginal coitus.
