摘要
Finding the relationship between technological innovation, economic efficiency and the practical applicability of modern technology has been dealt with since the beginning of the development of precision farming. The User-Technology Index of Precision Agriculture (UTIPA) can be used for their evaluation. It is a complex system for the international community of people with relations to precision farming, it is accessible to anyone, who respects the rules of use. Every interested person can find and compare the technologies in the UTIPA system, that interest him. A non-negligible contribution is simply invoking a discussion of the benefits and potential of precision agriculture. The article presents two examples of comparing precision farming technologies. The best-rated technology in beetroot farming is the controlled drive of tractors and other agricultural techniques on the farmland. From the comparison of the evaluation of individual groups of respondents, the results point out how little knowledge secondary and university students have about modern precision farming technologies.
