摘要：

The use of several narrowband VCOs with common phase lock loop in a multichannel frequency source provides certain advantages over more conventional concepts based on a single broadband VCO and microwave switches. Multiple oscillator design offers better phase noise performance and less complicated microwave circuitry. These advantages are particularly distinct in case of synthesizer with multiple outputs assigned for separate, narrowband frequency channels.
