Nonexistence and existence of positive solutions for difference equations with unbounded delay

摘要
Consider the delay difference equation x(n+1) - x(n) + p(n)x(r(n)) = 0, n = 0, 1, 2,..., where tau : N --> Z, tau(n) < n for n is an element of N and lim(n-->infinity) tau(n) = infinity, {p(n)} is an element of R. Some existence results of positive solutions and oscillation criteria for this equation are obtained. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
