摘要
This study focuses on learning English as a foreign language, based on six specific topics, based on classical Greek culture. The project will be carried out over an academic year, which includes thirty weeks of lessons, in total. The six didactic units include the six Hellenic arts, as these were embodied in classical Greece, that is architecture, sculpture, painting, music and theater, declamation and poetry and, finally, dance. Each of the didactic unit will be carried out throughout five weeks, four of which will be dedicated to the different activities, related to the corresponding topic, while the last week will be dedicated to an overview of the content worked in class and a test, in which that both the level of the students in English and the new knowledge acquired will be assessed. The proposed activities comply with the requirements within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and promote the enhancement of the four skills described for levels B2, C1 and C2, with the support of acoustic and visual material, related to the higher arts, according to the Hellenic philosophy.
