摘要
An explicit formulation for intermolecular vibration-vibration (VV) energy transfer is applied, to the hydrogen fluoride (HF) molecule and the symmetric, antisymmetric and bend overtone vibrations of its hydrogen-boned neighboring water molecule in aqueous solution. The results are analyzed in terms of coupling factor strength and resonance issues. The validity of the point dipole approximation is also investigated. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
