摘要
Based on the experiment of failure RC frame with special-shaped column strengthened by wrapping steels and gluing steels, a 3-D finite element model is established to study the seismic behavior under low-reversed cyclic loads. Compared with the experimental phenomena and data, the calculated results are in a good agreement with test ones. Then, the influence of steel plate thickness, batten spacing, axial compression ratio on the ductility and the development of plastic hinge appearance are analyzed. Main conclusions are drawn as follows: the ductility of the failure RC frame strengthened by wrapping steels and gluing steels is improved with the increase of steel plate thickness and decrease of the batten distance; the reinforcing method is effective to improve seismic behavior of RC frame with special-shaped columns, when the value of axial compression ratio is low.
