摘要
In October 2013 a small hoard of five gold coins (three double ducats of immobilized Spanish type bearing the names of Ferdinand and Isabella, a "real" of Charles V minted in Gelderland (now in the eastern Netherlands) and a double ducat issued by Jean-Jacques Khuen de Belasi, archbishop of Salzburg, dated 1574) was discovered during pre-development excavations in Saint-Georges-sur-l'Aa (Nord). Spotted beneath the ploughsoil, the find was without any associated structure or container in an area that written sources clearly qualified as 'unconstructed' (fief du Bogartland). The accurate date (the last quarter of the 16th century probably) and the reason for the deposit (or loss) cannot be stated but one could stress the period of the Troubles. The first inventory of gold coins from the 16th century (hoards and single finds) discovered in the north of France (Nord and Pas-de-Calais) is presented in the appendix.
