摘要
The effects of annealing on the microstructures and mechanical properties of biomedical cold-rolled Ti-35Nb-9Zr-6Mo-4Sn alloy were investigated. The results showed that the recrystallization occurred and the alloys were still composed of single beta phase for the samples with both reductions after annealing at 923 K. The recrystallized grain size of the specimen with lower reduction was larger than that of the specimen with higher reduction. The dominant textures changed to (111)< 112 > orientation from (111)< 110 > and {001}< 110 > orientation before annealing and the intensities enhanced with the increase of the holding time. Annealing for the short holding time can affect the formation of the recrystallized texture more significantly than that with lower reduction. The strength of the annealed alloy decreased slightly, while the elongation and Young's modulus increased with the holding time increasing due to the reduced defect, grain coarsening and the change of recrystallized texture.
