摘要
Experiments planned to address the issue of electron correlation in the Pu 5f states are described herein. The key is the utilization of the Fano effect: the observation of spin polarization in nonmagnetic systems, using chiral excitation such as circularly polarized X-rays. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V.
