摘要
Vibrations of flexible cylindrical and sector shells subjected to the action of uniformly distributed static loads are studied. The analyzed problems are solved using two methods: the Bubnov-Galerkin method (BGM) and the finite difference method (FDM). Validity and reliability of the results is verified through a comparison to the results obtained by Andreev et al. (Stability of Shells Under Non-Symmetric Deformation. Nauka, Moscow, 1988) in the case of a nonlinear static problem.
