Nematodes are vermiform animals. They can be found in the soil or in plants. Several organs constitute the nematode's body, such as stylet, metacarpus, isthmus, esophagus, ovary, annuli, etc. The stylet plays a fundamental role in the parasitic action, since through this organ the nematode punctures the host plant. Computational systems have been proposed aiming the nematode identification. This paper establishes a model for inspection of nematode digitized images and describes the use of the AFT (Attributed Fuzzy Tournament) graph to locate the stylet.. The model takes into account morphological aspects of the stylet, irrespective of its morphometric aspects.
