Stress and strain potentials for mode I and mode II cracks

摘要
The stress and strain potentials are given for the mode I and the mode II crack in an elastic, isotropic elastic solid in plane strain in a relatively simple closed form using cylindrical coordinates centered at the center of the crack. The potentials are developed from those of the mode III crack. (C) 2004 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
