摘要
A liquid crystal (LC) anamorphic lens is realized using an LC cell with a transparent electrode and a divided electrode with a hole in the center. By applying appropriate potentials on-the divided electrode, the LC cell behaves like an optical lens with astigmatic properties. An incident plane lightwave-experiences a nearly elliptical profile of phase retardation. The astigmatism is also electrically controllable.
