摘要
For upgrading the electron-positron collider KEKB, the final focusing magnet system in the beam interaction region has been studied. The designed magnet system consists of five superconducting and three permanent quadrupole magnets. Asuperconducting quadrupole magnet has been constructed as the R&D of this system. In this paper, design and construction of this R&D magnet are reported.
