摘要
Fe1-xNix (x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9) binary alloys have been prepared by arc-melting method and are structurally investigated using X-ray diffraction. These alloys are found to exhibit a structural transition from bcc to fcc for x values between 0.3 and 0.4. Fe0.7Ni0.3 alloy is in mixed phase containing bcc and fcc structures. Crystallite size obtained using Sherrer equation exhibits a drastic decrease from bcc to fcc. Within the fcc phase region crystallite size remains more or less same.
