摘要
A Voltage driven Shunt Active Power Filter (VS-APF) behaves as a harmonic resistance for all the harmonic frequencies. During the VSAPF operation, remaining harmonic voltages at the coupling point are in phase with the harmonic compensating currents injected by the filter. This fact means that some harmonic active power is absorbed by the VSAPF. This paper presents and discusses a two-level SiC MOSFET based VSAPF implementation with ultra-low losses that is capable of transforming a large amount of the absorbed harmonic active power into fundamental power and releasing it back to the grid continuously. Furthermore, as the VSAPF implies a closed loop feedback between measured harmonic voltages and compensating currents, the VSAPF is implemented with a model based predictive current controller as a method to mitigate harmful delays for the VSAPF that exist otherwise in conventional current controllers that use a PWM modulator. The proposed VSAPF is validated through computer simulation.
