摘要
Deep-sea benthic foraminiferal faunas underwent severe extinction during the Paleocene-Eocene thermal maximum (PETM), but less is known about neritic environments. Through taxonomical analysis we document for the first time that recovery of neritic benthic assemblages after the PETM followed a similar pattern in shelf regions in New Jersey (USA) and Egypt. J. Micropalaeontol. 31(1): 89-93, February 2012.
