摘要
In the present work gold nanoparticles were synthesized by green method using Aegle marmelos bark extract and the reaction conditions were optimized. Synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by using different analytical techniques including UV-Visible spectroscopy, FTIR (Fourier Transform Infra Red) spectroscopy, TEM (Transmission electron microscopy), DLS (Dynamic Light Scattering) and Zeta Potential Analyser. The Biosynthesized gold nanoparticles were then used for colorimetric detection of Cr(III) and Al(III) from aqueous medium. It was found that the detection limit with nanoparticles was as low as 0.5 mM for Cr(III) ion and 0.01 mM for Al(III) ions in aqueous medium. CO 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
