摘要
In this paper, the chaotic motion in a piece-wise linear system under a harmonic excitation source is converted to a periodic motion by employing the delayed feedback method proposed by Pyragas. From the practical view point, an actuator attached to the original system is used for the control, without directly actuating the harmonic excitation source. Comparing time histories between the cases with and without control, it is experimentally confirmed that the chaos is suppressed.
