Display measurement using imaging color luminance meter and its uncertainty

摘要
An imaging color luminance meter can measure large number of object points in a single operation costing just several seconds. So it is an ideal instrument for measuring the luminance, color and their distributions of displays. The measurement uncertainties of the imaging color luminance meter measuring CRT and LCD displays are analysed by simulation, mainly for the spectral mismatch uncertainty contribution. The results show that the spectral mismatch of the system responsivity causes large measurement uncertainties. A correction method for the spectral mismatch is introduced, both for CRT and LCD displays. The results show that the method can reduce the measurement uncertainties significantly.
