摘要
Carbon nano tube is very promising material with better electric and optical properties. Here we present the idea about three 2x2 coupler designs with PVC-MWCNT material. The couplers are simulated on FDTD environment. AU the couplers are designed in maximum footprint of 3 mu mx6 mu m. The operating wavelength range of coupler is 0.7 mu m-1.0 mu m with refractive index of 2.7 and 1.47 for core and cladding respectively. The simulation results showed the variation in excess loss and splitting ratio in given wavelength range. Here we got the minimum excess loss 0.82 dB in Directional Coupler and minimum splitting ratio variation 32.76% in CGC 50 degrees. Overall the moderate excess loss and splitting ratio is got in CGC60 degrees.
