摘要
This article provides an overview of the recent developments in the study of plasmonics using metal nanoparticles. The nanoparticles used for plasmonics applications are produced with microfluidics reactor as a high yield synthesis method. Microfluidics system shows a great promise in controlling the size, shape and size distribution. Main emphasis is given to synthesis of the plasmonics nanoparticles and core-shell nanoparticles using a microfluidics reactor with different size and shapes, with the possibility of independent tuning, and, therefore, control of the size and shape of the metal nanoparticles.
