摘要
World's population is increasing significantly and consumption of electrical power is also expending with this. The electrical power harvested from fossil fuel is not enough and, hence sustainable energy sources especially solar PV became one of the great sources. The introduced limit of photovoltaic (PV) frameworks worldwide has arrived at 408.3 GW toward the finish of April 2019. A large part of this is installed as residential rooftop PV system integrated with LV distribution network. The mass scale PV penetration in LV distribution network is restricted with some of the power quality problems. This paper presents the study of impacts of high rooftop solar PV penetration in LV distribution system. Also the mitigation technique by using DSTATCOM is discussed. The simulation model using MATLAB/SIMULINK shows the impacts as well as the alleviations' of power quality problems by using FACTS device like DSTATCOM.
