摘要
Copper-exchanged zeolites were investigated as catalysts for the selective catalytic oxidation of CO in H-2 rich feeds. Three different zeolitic topologies were chosen: MFI, MWW and FAU. Under dry conditions the following order of activity in conversion of CO to CO2 was observed: Cu-ZSM-5 > Cu-Y > Cu-MCM-22. However, under wet conditions (H2O/CO = 3.0) and stoichiometric CO/O-2 ratio of 1:0.5, Cu-ZSM-5 has presented a better performance than commercial 0.5 wt% Pt/Al2O3. By-products, such as methane or methanol, were not detected in the reaction effluents.
