摘要
In the aerospace industry the usage of new materials is been introduced in the most modern aircrafts. Even then, the most traditional materials like aluminium alloys are still commonly used. Thus, the aluminium-copper alloy is used for this aim. By this, the alloy is processed using different methods. The machining process is often the first in the production chain. Because of this, the machining of aluminium-copper alloys is still a reason of study. In this paper, the chip morphology and the chip cross section of UNS A92024 alloy is compared under dry turning machining.
