摘要
Nd3+ :K Lu(WO4)(2) crystal with the dimension 46 x 26 x 7 mm(3) has been grown from a flux of K2WO4 using the top seed solution grown method. The solubility curve of K2WO4 in the solution has been measured. The absorption and emission spectra of Nd3+ : KLu(WO4)(2) have been investigated. The absorption and emission cross-sections are 7.93 x 10(-20) cm(2) at 812nm and 2.41 x 10(-19) cm(2) at 1072 nm, respectively. The fluorescence lifetime is 79.4 mu s at room temperature.
