摘要
In this paper we mainly introduce the principle of two novel electrical addressed spatial light modulator liquid crystal on silicon and digital micromirror device, and their applications in the fields of projection display, fabrication of synthetic generated hologram, optical information measurement. We also compare their performance with that of liquid crystal spatial light modulator which is often used presently, and point out respective advantages and disadvantages. In the end, the developing tendency of spatial light modulator is foretold.
