Modelling of RP chromatographic systems

摘要
This paper continues studies on the use of Oscik's equation-assuming an adsorption-partitioning mechanism of chromatography in reversed-phase liquid chromatography. The equation describes the relationship between solute retention and mobile phase composition, including four parameters characterising the chromatographic system. Model theoretical studies on the effect of molecular interactions, surface phase composition and solute properties on retention are presented.
