摘要
We present a theoretical formulation of finite strain thermoelasticity in the general setting of manifolds and a very efficient computational framework for its finite element implementation, obtained by generalizing Hill's principal axis methodology. The proposed formulation is further illustrated by a detailed presentation of a 4-node axisymmetric finite element and numerical simulations. Copyright (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
