摘要
In this paper, the event-triggered sliding mode control (SMC) strategy for the discrete-time two-dimensional (2-D) Roesser systems with disturbances is proposed. First of all, the new horizontal and vertical linear sliding surface functions combined with the event-triggering scheme are constructed for the 2-D Roesser system, respectively. Next, sufficient conditions for the existence of the developed sliding surface functions are established. Then the event-triggered sliding mode control laws are designed by two different approaches: the Lyapunov function technique and the reaching law approach, such that the state trajectories of the resultant closed-loop 2-D system are driven into a bounded region and maintained there all time. Finally, the simulation results are given to show the design method and performance of the 2-D system under the proposed event-triggered SMC strategy. The main advantage is that the event-triggering based SMC strategy for 2-D systems is first proposed by taking the particular 2-D system property into account and this contributes to the event-triggered control (ETC) and SMC research for a general 2-D system.
